Dr Worland is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who completed training in Gastroenterology through Austin and Monash Health before undertaking a further year subspecialising in liver transplantation. He has a special interest in the care of patients with acute and chronic liver disease and is trained to perform transient elastography (Fibro scan).
Tom is well experienced in all facets of gastroenterology and has a special interest in challenging hepatology cases and transplant medicine, liver related disease such as chronic liver disease, fatty liver, and viral hepatitis. Tom also manages other gastroenterology issues including coeliac disease, iron deficiency, reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and irritable bowel syndrome, as well as performing endoscopic procedures.
Doctor offers capsule endoscopy and Fibroscan across multiple locations providing a complete range of patient care options.
Tom focuses his consulting and private procedure in the outer Eastern suburbs, providing specialist care to the patients in those areas.
