Dr Roshan Ariyaratnam

Dr Roshan Ariyaratnam is a General Surgeon with interests in Abdominal Wall and Complex Hernia Surgery. He was born and raised in the United Kingdom, where he completed his medical education at Imperial College London Medical School in 2008. Following his graduation, he began his career in the National Health Service (NHS), gaining valuable early experience in centres such as St Mark’s Hospital in London and Colchester General Hospital.
In 2011, Roshan became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Seeking new challenges and opportunities, he decided to migrate to Australia to pursue advanced surgical training in General Surgery. He obtained his Fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2022 after completing training through Western Health.
